Aspen : The pup you might get green-eyed of.. Beware..!!

Amid the famous models, celebrities, and “fitstagram” accounts filling the Instagram feeds of over 1 billion (who share a total of around 95 million photos each day), a new celebrity has emerged. 

This is Aspen, a Golden Retriever from Colorado who proves that not only are dogs man’s best friends, they also make the best travelling buddies.  His sophic stare—no doubt honed by his travels—has struck a chord, and he’s quickly amassed more than 292k followers.

[Disclaimer : We are sorry in advance as you might feel your life mundane after acquainting with his -as pretty sure he has been on more exciting outdoor excursions in much shorter time than most of us in our whole life -but he is too fascinating to resist some one to know him deeper.] ;-)

Aspen lives in Colorado with Hunter Lawrence, his owner and personal photographer, and Sarah Lawrence and whether he’s kayaking, hiking, swimming in crystal clear mountain lakes or cruising around in a VW Camper, Aspen loves nothing more than getting back to nature. Jealous? Us too.

His outdoor adventures have earned him profiles on CNN, InStyle, The Telegraph and more.

"I always swore I would never take an Instagram of him, and I was on my phone one day and thought what the hell is happening?"

"I honestly saw it as sort of silly before I started doing it. I thought it was a waste of time to dress my dog up, make him look certain ways and then share it with random strangers.

"But once I realized I actually had created some really beautiful content of Aspen from places all over the USA and Canada that I was really proud of, I sort of just bit the bullet and went for it.

"People seem to love it and to be honest, I really love it now. Even if his feed never gained popularity I probably would still do it, because I enjoy it -- I guess that's all that really matters."

Early life:

He was raised primarily in Denver, Colorado.

Family :

His owners, Hunter and Sarah Lawrence, are avid travellers and have taken him on many of their adventures. Few year ago, Lawrence, Sarah and Aspen moved from their home state of Texas to live in Colorado, where they're better able to travel for work, as both Lawrence and his wife are professional photographers.

Typical Aspen thing:

You can take Aspen on a boat, but don't expect him to paddle. Also this dog can sled, captain a canoe -- and even has his own sunglasses and backpack in case he gets caught short while out hiking. Roaming around is what Aspen gets to do on a daily basis. This proves that this pooch is down for any adventure.
